POSTPARTUM DOULA
As a former paramedic, childcare owner, and DONA-certified postpartum doula. I support families during the postpartum period by offering emotional, physical, and culturally sensitive care.
My mission goes beyond providing support to families—I also empower doulas. Through my agency, I guide doulas in Minnesota through the Medicaid billing process, from DHS enrollment to ongoing claims and marketing support. This helps doulas serve their communities sustainably, especially those from underrepresented groups.
Every community has unique postpartum needs, and doulas who reflect these communities are best positioned to offer relevant care. I believe postpartum care should be accessible, culturally relevant, and financially sustainable.

At Heal Wave Doula we want to ensure that individuals with limited financial resources still have access to essential healthcare services. Therefore, we are only accepting clients with Medicaid at this time.
This can be a low fee or Free for Medicaid insurance.
